Becoming a Member
The first step in becoming a member is complete an online application form and paying the associated application fee. Once we receive your completed application form with a non-refundable application fee, a member of our Admissions Committee will contact you. After an initial review of your application, you will be notified if any additional information is required, or a committee interview invitation letter will be issued. This interview serves the purpose of getting to know you better and offers both parties the opportunity to ask questions. The committee members will inform you of your financial and social responsibilities, the steps toward becoming a full financial member, and the final initiation ceremonies called Induction.
Following a success at the first interview, a floor interview will be scheduled during our normal monthly business meeting. The Committee members will assist you with preparing for this very important interview. With success at the floor interview, the Club will notify you when your membership has been approved and when you and your spouse will attend your first Club general meeting!
After You Join
Your membership commences once you receive a letter of acceptance, along with your onboarding packet. This packet will contain among others, a Welcome Letter, Membership Directory, Meeting/Event Calendar, Copy of the Chapter’s Bylaws, and Contact List of Executive, Board of Trustees (BOT), and Committee Members. At this point, you are considered a member of the Club! However, your membership will be under review over the next 12 months. This period is referred to as the Probationary Period. During this period, a new member will not be qualified to receive any benefit from the Club. You will also learn the traditional way of greeting other Enyimba members during your first meeting. You will be made aware and initiated into the culture of service. Your membership has begun!
How to Sustain Your Membership
In order to enjoy your membership with Enyimba, a member must be active and attempt to participate in all Enyimba social events. Peace & Love are the mantra of the Club and is also evident in the fabric of the Club’s live. In fact, it us our way of life! As with most organizations, being visible is the most significant way to get to know other members, create value, and position yourself and family to receive such love and support when you celebrate any of your life’s milestones.
Completing and Submitting Your Application Form
When completing the membership application form, ensure that all questions are answered correctly and completely. Incomplete or incorrect information provided may result in delays in reviewing your application or rejection of your application.
